Description: On Friday, August 31st, between 5:45 and 7:30am, fiber optic connections for existing network devices in Dwinelle Hall will be migrated to a new root switch.

This activity is necessary to alleviate the recent outages from a failing device. Many, but not all, wired connections will have a temporary loss of service while the connections are being moved.

Campus WiFi is already being served from the new device, so there would be no loss of WiFi services.

This announcement will be updated when normal performance of these tools has been restored.
